Prioritising Coastal Adaptation Development Options for Local Development

This report provides a critical review of current and emerging issues for climate change adaptation in coastal areas with a specific focus on the implications for decision-making in local government.

The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the key concepts and adaptation strategies relevant to climate change adaptation in coastal areas to inform the workshops being conducted to develop multi-criteria analysis and monitoring and evaluation tools to enhance decision - making in the coastal zone among the study participants (the 15 member councils of the Sydney Coastal Councils Group, Sunshine Coast Council, and Bega Valley Shire Council).
