ACCARNSI will be hosting its 7th National Forum and Workshop for Early Career Researchers in Melbourne, Victoria from 7 to 9 May 2012.

The workshops seek to encourage participation from early career researchers (from tertiary as well as the private sector) currently based in Australia who are doing innovative work in climate change. The program for the 7th National Forum and Workshop will also include sessions themed around Emergency Management and Settlements and Infrastructure with a keynote by Dr Kate White, Senior Lead, Global and Climate Change, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Up to 20 candidates will be selected to participate. Each participant must submit an abstract of no more than 250 words and give a presentation at the workshop. The workshop will run over 3 days. For interstate participants, domestic travel to the workshop venue and accommodation expenses are paid for by ACCARNSI.
