What is CoastAdapt?
CoastAdapt is an online coastal climate risk management framework developed by NCCARF to support adaptation to coastal climate change and sea-level rise.
CoastAdapt includes tools and information on the science of climate change, risks, effective response options, and likely costs of action. It makes use of national data sets and research outputs developed over the past 5 years by Australian scientific organisations and includes clear guidance on good practice and links to case studies.
Please explore the CoastAdapt website. You can leave comments on individual webpages using the feedback button visible on the right-hand margin.

The following resources are also available within CoastAdapt:
Information is provided at multiple levels of complexity to cater for the varying needs of different users. CoastAdapt has getting started pages to help visitors find the resources that they require based on their different roles.
CoastExchange was the online discussion forum included as part of CoastAdapt. It ran from April 2016 through to June 2017 and had over 250 registered users. As well as providing a platform to discuss adaptation issues there were also daily news items, weekly feature articles and every month registered users submitted questions about coastal adaptation which were then answered by our panel of adaptation experts.
