The SEI-network is involved in three core activities:

1. Building and facilitating the interaction of a large, inclusive and diverse community through SEI-network membership, through our website and mailing list, and through our annual workshops
2. Development of the Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Change in Indigenous Communities Programme
3. Building a community of dynamic future leaders from government, research, community and indigenous groups in adaptation research and policy through the annual Adaptation College
