Emergency Management

Climate change is expected to increase the frequency and intensity of natural disasters, especially those associated with warmer conditions such as heat waves and bushfi res. The occurrence of storms, droughts and flooding may also increase. NCCARF has funded research to the value of $1.8 million to address the research priorities detailed in the National Climate Change Adaptation Research Plan for Emergency Management.
