The 2011 NCCARF Conference will be a one day event held in conjunction with Greenhouse 2011, on Wednesday 6 April, Cairns Convention Centre.

There is no charge to attend this one-day event.

The aim of the NCCARF Conference is to bring researchers and end users together, to provide an update on NCCARF activities and advances in knowledge across NCCARF’s priority sectors, and to discuss a number of cross cutting challenges and themes in a series of half-day workshops. These workshops will focus on topics such as:

  • Climate change adaptation knowledge/action interface
  • Urbanisation, food security, climate change and public health
  • Uncertainty in the science and implications for climate change adaptation
  • Australasia in the IPCC 5th Assessment (convened by Roger Kitching and Andy Reisinger)

An agenda for the NCCARF Conference, including confirmation of these workshop topics and of key speakers will be available in late January. Attendance at the NCCARF Conference will be free of charge, however numbers will be limited, Please register below to confirm your attendance at this event, and to receive information updates.
