The National Climate Change Adaptation Research Facility and CSIRO Climate Adaptation Flagship welcome media attendance at the 2010 International Climate Change Adaptation Conference.
The Conference will provide a rare opportunity to hear from, and interview, some of the world’s leading researchers and decision makers working to adapt the natural, built, social and economic environment to prepare for climate change.
Who should attend?
Climate Adaptation Futures is truly multi-disciplinary, reflecting the fact that climate change is not just ‘an environmental problem’ but one that will impact every aspect of our social, economic, natural and built society.
It will prove particularly relevant for:
- Health writers
- Rural and agriculture writers
- Economics writers
- Urban affairs writers
- Environment writers
- Science writers
- General news journalists reporting on general climate issues such as management of emergencies including bushfires, floods and cyclones.
