Location

The GCCEC is located in the heart of Broadbeach on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and TE Peters Drive.

If driving from Brisbane along the Pacific Motorway take Exit 71, which is Nerang Broadbeach Road. Travel along this road until you past the Pacific Fair Shopping Centre and turn left onto the Gold Coast Highway. The GCCEC entrance is only 300 metres north on your left.

If travelling by rail from Brisbane alight at Nerang Train Station. Bus, taxi and limousine services are available to connect you to the GCCEC.

If travelling by air into Gold Coast Airport, bus, taxi and limousine grounds transfers are available. If you hire a car travel north along the Gold Coast Highway, you will not miss the GCCEC on your left when you reach Broadbeach.

Getting to the Gold Coast by Train

Brisbane’s Airtrain also operate regular rail services from Brisbane Airport to the Gold Coast which take approximately 90 minutes. The Gold Coast is connected by rail to Brisbane's Roma Street and Central stations. The closest railway stations servicing the Gold Coast include Nerang, Helensvale and Robina where there are connecting shuttle bus services available from the stations to Surfers Paradise and other Gold Coast centres.

Getting to the Gold Coast by Air

The Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta is serviced by domestic and international flights. Most domestic services are one-class, but international services include higher classes. There are regular daily domestic flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide & there are connecting flights to all other Australian cities. The flight from Sydney is approximately 1h 25mins, flying from Melbourne is 2h 15mins and from Adelaide it is 2h 10mins.

International flights arrive from Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, Palmerston North & Christchurch in New Zealand. There are also flights arriving on the Gold Coast via Cairns from Japan (Osaka, Nagoya & Fukuoka), Taipei, Hong Kong & Singapore. Brisbane's International Airport also provides links with the USA and Europe.

Getting to the Gold Coast by Car

The major route from Sydney to the Gold Coast is via the Pacific H'way which is currently undergoing major upgrades and conditions vary. Use the following table to plan your trip and ensure that you "stop, revive, survive" every 2 hours.

Car Parking

Flat rate car parking fee of $5.00 per vehicle for public events.

Public Transport

Local bus, coach, taxi and limousine companies operate regular services to all major attractions, hotels and shopping centres.

There is a bus stop directly in front of the GCCEC on the Gold Coast Highway. There are also taxi and limousine ranks at the main entrance.

You can also access the rail line to Brisbane via a bus from Conrad Jupiters.

About the Venue

Wheelchair access
The GCCEC has wheelchair access to all areas of the building, and main access entrances, including lift access from the car park where there are ample disability bays in the carpark and specially-designed bathrooms on all levels.

Automatic Teller Machines (ATM's)
There are two ATM's situated in the Exhibition Hall Foyer area located between the Arena and Exhibition Halls by the elevators.

Internet Access
GCCEC has a public WIFI Network, therefore delegates can log onto the internet anywhere within the Centre wirelessly.

Climate

The Gold Coast has a sub-tropical climate with plenty of sunshine year round. At the time of the Conference the average temperature is between 9 to 21 degrees Celsius (48 to 69 degrees Fahrenheit).
