Adaptation Research Networks
Eight Adaptation Research Networks were established in January 2009.
The aim of these Networks is to facilitate collaborative climate change adaptation research, and open exchange of information and sharing of climate change adaptation resources. These Networks will work with NCCARF to implement the National Adaptation Research Plans.
The Adaptation Research Networks, and their host institutions are:
- Terrestrial Biodiversity, James Cook University
- Primary Industries, University of Melbourne
- Water Resources & Freshwater Biodiversity, Griffith University
- Marine Biodiversity & Resources, University of Tasmania
- Human Health, Australian National University
- Settlements & Infrastructure, University of New South Wales
- Emergency Management, RMIT University
- Social, Economic & Institutional Dimensions, University of Melbourne
